Most crystal guides tell you ‘rose quartz for love’ without noticing that rose quartz works differently during a waxing moon than a waning one. This finder reads the current phase and gives you a phase-specific recommendation — plus a $0 alternative if you don’t have the crystal on hand.
Every recommendation in this tool includes a **free alternative** — because expensive crystals are not required for moon work. A river stone, a pressed leaf, a glass of water charged under moonlight: all these can do the work of the named crystal if that’s what you have.
We drew the recommendations from the MRL correspondence library: each (intention × waxing/waning) pairing maps to one crystal chosen for the *specific action* you’re doing — not the general concept. Rose quartz for self-love in waxing looks different from rhodonite for releasing old patterns in waning, even though both touch love.
