What we are

Moon Ritual Library is the world’s most comprehensive, astronomically accurate, and accessible lunar witchcraft library. We’re built around four things most moon sites don’t have stacked together:

• A live tool suite. Twelve calculators and generators — Birth Moon Calculator, Ritual Matcher, Crystal Finder, Personal Moon Year, and more — running on real NASA JPL ephemeris data. No almanac approximations.
• A deep ritual library. Every moon phase cornerstone, plus a growing matrix of rituals for every phase × intention combination (96 in total), written by practitioners and reviewed for accessibility before publication.
• Monthly living forecasts. Each upcoming New and Full Moon gets its own living URL, updated every cycle with fresh journal prompts, ritual variations, and astronomical signatures.
• A year-long practice curriculum. From Moon Magic 101 through priestess-level deep work — a welcoming ramp with no prerequisites.

What we believe

Moon magic belongs to everyone. You don’t need expensive tools, special lineage, or years of study. The moon shines on all of us equally — and every culture that has looked at her has found her teaching the same thing: cycles are real, cycles are meaningful, and cycles reward the practitioner who tends them with attention.

Simple practices are powerful practices. You don’t need hours for ritual. A breath taken with intention under the moon is magic. Our tools have 2-minute versions alongside 30-minute versions — same essence, different doses.

Accessibility is not an accommodation — it’s a practice. Every ritual on this site offers variants for different budgets (every crystal has a $0 alternative), for small spaces and no-outdoor-access, for mobility considerations, and for those practicing discreetly. If a ritual can’t be adapted, it doesn’t belong here.

Accuracy is respect. Every phase time, every moon sign, every eclipse date on this site is computed from NASA JPL’s DE421 ephemeris — the same data professional astrologers rely on. Almanac approximations slide as much as 24 hours over a year; we won’t ship you that.

A note on tradition

We draw on many lineages — folk magic, Wicca-adjacent practices, astrology, astronomy, herbalism, and the many living witchcraft and spiritual traditions being practiced right now. We do our best to credit sources, name influences, and respect closed practices. We never present closed or initiation-gated practices as open.
